Why Inkygreen?

Recycled paper
  • Helps reduce landfill which is under ever increasing demand.
  • Paper is a biodegradable material that rots in landfill producing methane, a greenhouse gas that is 20 times more potent than carbon dioxide.
  • Producing recycled paper uses less energy and water than virgin paper because most of the energy used in papermaking is the pulping needed to turn wood into paper.
FSC paper
  • As demand for paper has increased, so has the need for more timber needed to meet the demand for wood pulp. Much is illegally logged and the UK and EU are some of the biggest markets http://www.climatechangecorp.com/.
  • FSC stocks are tracked and managed from their original forest source through to paper mill and then finally printing house, each of which has been individually certified to ensure full compliance with the complete FSC Chain of Custody.
Inks
  • Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) contain carbon that contribute to air and water pollution. Vegetable based inks reduce the levels of VOCs and other pollutants emitted in the printing process.
  • Vegetable based inks are partially made with renewable resources such as soy, linseed, and corn, using less non-renewable resources, such as petroleum oil.
